CKE

In order to succeed on the CKE exam, students must exhibit strong technical knowledge as well as the ability to apply that knowledge to a multiple choice exam.

PASS will prepare students for this exam by:

  • providing technical sessions which review all difficult topics in depth, in the areas of governance, strategy and risk management; performance measurement; management decision making; finance; assurance; and taxation; and
  • illustrating the application of technical topics to multiple choice questions (usually 25 - 75 questions per day) by integrating multiple choice questions into the technical sessions and by providing students with the opportunity to write 3 simulated 100 question multiple choice exam; and
  • providing extensive coverage of IFRS and GAAP for Private Enterprises, including practice multiple choice questions and solutions; and
  • providing extensive notes for all Competencies (including tax) and;
  • including over 650 multiple choice questions and solutions in the binder (which includes the 3 simulated 100 multiple choice exams).

(B) MULITPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS

During the course, students will be provided with 3 simulated 100 question CKE exams along with detailed solutions. One of the exams is for practice and the other exam will be marked, handed in, and detailed statistics, per question, will be provided. Exams will include questions dealing with IFRS and GAAP for Private Enterprises. Students can write the handed-in exam at any time and receive a detailed solution as well as statistics which reflect their performance relative to other students. This "trial run" will provide an excellent opportunity to identify weaknesses and correct them before the real CKE.

The Registration deadline is one week prior to course start date. Students are however encouraged to register early in order to reserve a spot in the course.
