Financial Accounting IFRS/ASPE Review – Repeat Writers*

In the first two nights, this course will summarize major technical areas in IFRS and Private Enterprise GAAP (ASPE) for which students are responsible.

In the last two nights, this course will demonstrate how to apply IFRS issues into cases, utilizing 2 prepared simulated cases incorporating numerous IFRS issues. Students will learn how to apply their technical IFRS knowledge while at the same time learn how to attain depth in the PM issues.

*This course is appropriate for students who have NOT taken the PASS Fall CKE 2011 or PASS Winter CKE 2012 course.

This course will demonstrate how to apply IFRS issues into cases, utilizing 2 prepared simulated cases incorporating numerous IFRS issues. Students will learn how to apply their technical IFRS knowledge while at the same time learn how to attain depth in the PM issues. There will also be a short technical review on some of the major topics.

*This course is appropriate for students who have taken the PASS previous CKE course and want to learn how to integrate IFRS issues into cases, for both the SOA and the UFE.
